As a cardiologist, I spent much of my career interpreting images of the heart, interpreting echocardiograms and performing and interpreting cardiac catheterizations. This work taught me to look closely, notice details, and appreciate the stories that images can reveal.

Photography became a natural extension of that way of seeing. Travel has long been a passion for my wife and me, and together we have been fortunate to explore 55 countries.

Along the way, I discovered that the camera allows me to preserve not only the beauty of a place but also the people, wildlife, and moments that give it meaning. My portfolio reflects this journey: sweeping landscapes that celebrate the natural world, portraits of individuals whose warmth and character embody the spirit of their culture, and images of animals that reveal both their majesty and their place within the environments they inhabit.
